Whenever I visit any of the online Linux magazines that allow users to leave their comments I’m stunned how narrow-minded a lot of people are. Only their very specific distribution is worth being used, all others are simply crap, and the users of those “crappy” distributions are put down. Wow… what about some community spirit?

It’s done — my lovely new computer is back to it’s (Linux) live. Over are the days of Windows dominance. My SuSE 9.2 box arrived yesterday and needless to say I immediately installed Linux.

I received the shipping notice today. Delivery is scheduled for early next week. This means that later next week I will write an experience “report” on how version 9.2 works with my Dimension 8400. Later, if I decide to upgrade my laptop (Inspirion 1100) I might add another one. Stay tuned…
