While setting up my wireless networking for my laptop I noticed that everything was really slow. Pinging (2 times) a remote host like Yahoo or Google had a total time of around 5000ms! Same thing done using Windows was 24ms. That’s quite a difference.
Finally I had the time to install SuSE 9.3 on my Dell Inspirion 1100 Laptop. So far all is working well. I did not look into the whole issue of suspend to disk or ram yet. Once I did, I will post my experience here.
